Problem
The biggest mobile and cable operator in Curaçao wanted to distribute television programming via streaming throughout the Caribbean. They also needed to create a digital app to distribute and showcase their content, including non-invasive advertising to boost digital ads revenue.
Solution
Our award-winning platform allowed them to create the Cariflix app (iOS, Android, Web, Roku, and AppleTV) enabling new business models.
They split the programming into Freemium and Premium plans with non-invasive digital ads.
They also added a library of original content and geo-blocked premium content for viewers outside of Curaçao.
Additionally, with the inside-stories feature, Cariflix has multiplied engagement with its audience, connecting brands directly to consumers.
Results
In barely 8 months of existence, Cariflix is up to 100,000 downloads and has already more than 1000 programs uploaded as Video-On-Demand.
Cariflix is generating an average of 700,000 impressions per month.
